Itinerary

Day 1:  Arrival Cairo. pyramids Tour

Dahab fly to Cairo Great pyramids, Memphis, Sakkara 

Welcome to Cairo! Your tour begins when you are greeted by our representative who will be holding a sign of your name, and will take you in our deluxe vehicle, on a fascinating tour of the famous Great Giza Pyramids one of the seven wonders in the ancient world, the pyramids are constructed from 5000 years by millions of limestone, you will be know more by your guide who will provide you with information about this historical site, continue your way to mystical Sphinx, the half Lion and half Human statue stands guard over the tombs, proceed to visit the oldest capital of Egypt Memphis it lays 25 Km southwest Cairo and it was built by king Menes

After lunch at a local restaurant,  you will visit the oldest Egyptian cemetery in ancient ages where you will see the first pyramids built by king Zoser, step pyramids, free time to explore the ancient Egyptian civilization then you will transfer to your hotel

* optional –  In the evening there is a farewell Nile cruise dinner, which lasts for 2 hours, sailing on the Nile with Folkloric Shows and Belly Dancers

At the end of this cruise you will be driven back to your hotel

Day 2: Cairo . Egyptian Museum & Citadel of Saladin and Hanging Church Tour

Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo (Masr el Qadima) fly to Dahab

After breakfast you will check out . Then you will be taken to the Egyptian Museum: gaze at the wonders of King Tutankhamen, including his golden mask; stare upon the mummies of some of Egypt’s ancient pharaohs , lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries, where thousands of artefacts are awaiting your visit

After lunch, at a local restaurant , you will be taken to the Citadel of Saladin, the fortress built between 1176 and 1183 AD, to protect Cairo from the Crusaders and rebuilt by Muhammad Ali Pasha, whose mosque is a “must see”

From here you will be taken on a tour of Cairo famous Churches, including: The Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, 2 churches built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon and its remains could be Cairo’s oldest structures; and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), where, it is said, the Holy Family took shelter in a cave, with the church being erected her to commemorate this. This whole area is a world famous destination for Pilgrims

At the end of this exciting day you will be driven back to Cairo airport for the flight to Sharm El-Sheikh

* ( optional ) in the evening you will have the opportunity to visit the old market of Cairo (Khan El-Khalili)
