The neighbor's cave is located on the road linking Farafra Oasis in the Western Desert with Assiut
The neighbor's cave has magical proportions that have arisen as a natural result of pure water and the dry desert climate over millions of years, and it contradicts all the caves of the region in its formations and the form of its wonderful sediments, as the descending and rising sedimentary forms appear to be like frozen waterfalls, which is the result of millions of cubic meters of water The earth that leaked through the sands of the desert millions of years ago and created this earth cave was then deposited and condensed due to the intense heat.
The cave differs from other caves known in terms of form and composition, from the inside it resembles attractive graphical panels with magical dimensions drawn by nature due to the sedimentary formation of sand and water since thousands of years where the formation and sedimentary shapes are snow falls falling and rising up to more than 15 meters, as a result of Groundwater infiltration during desert sands from early ages.
In the entrance to the cave there are many drawings and scribes, and in the cave square from the inside there is a hollow hall filled with rock waterfalls rising and falling with a magnificent attractive view.
Surprisingly, the inside of the cave shines a light as if the sun was inside it, if anyone ignited a “loud sulfur” or its lighter and all sides of the cave were lit up by its vast area and the rock waterfalls are considered as hanging lamps, which radiate a bright light as long as their length.
